In some parts of the world it is considered as a weed while others consider it to be food or medicine. The purpose of the study was to examine how effective the biden pilosa is in treatment of diabetes and hypertension. The study had a sample of 64 patients that reported to have had diabetes and had been using the conventional medicine however after taking the biden pilosa extract their sugar level drastically dropped. More than 90% of the patients reported to have normal sugar level. It was highly recommended that the biden pilosa drug be taken up as the official drug curing diabetes due to the positive effect it had in curing diabetes.
