Her research interest includes Biometrics, Digital Image Processing and Machine Learning. She has published 11 reputed International Journals. Dr. S. Kavitha is currently working as a HOD & Associate professor in Department of Computer Science, School of Arts and Science, AVIT Campus-Chennai - 603104 TamilNadu, India since 2006.She has around 16 years of Experience in teaching both UG and PG Computer Science Students. She Received her Ph.D Degree in computer Science from Vinayaka Mission's Research Foundation, Salem and obtained her Master of Computer Applications Degree from Mother Teresa Women's University, kodaikanal.
