Krista Keating-Joseph, a Gold Star Mom, is the author of the Big-Hearted Charlie Series of children's books based on true stories of her fallen Navy SEAL son, Charles Keating IV. The first book in the series, Big-Hearted Charlie Runs the Mile, earned the Royal Palm Literary Award from the Florida Writers Association.
