Bob Samuel is a second-generation San Franciscan, currently living in Sonoma County, CA. with his wife. Mr. Samuel passed on to his two sons, his love and respect for nature, and the survival skills he learned as an Eagle Scout, which enabled him to save a drowning man in the Pacific Ocean, and awarded him the Carnegie Medal at sixteen. He is a first-time author of Books for Young Readers.
