Roshonda Nicole Blackmon grew up in North Little Rock, Arkansas. Raised by a single parent in a household filled with abuse by a stepfather, Roshonda used books as her imaginary world to escape the one she was living in. She's an overcomer of suicide and low self-esteem. Growing up without a dad or true role model, Roshonda found herself getting into detrimental relationships that lead her down a wrong path.
