The author found himself at the feet of the One who is the fountain of love, and discovered that LOVE is the greatest asset in the whole universe. God is that ocean of love and the life that mankind lives has also the light that has eternity in sight. God is the gateway to this life and in Jesus Christ He has connected the physical to the spiritual realm. Every particle in this creation is joined together and tells us that loving each other brings joy of heaven to earth. This love, therefore, desires that there should also be unity among the churches for splits and divisions have caused a great gap which has deprived us of many of His blessings. This was the calling, from the top of the mountains, of the Cross on which Jesus died. For, in His love, God had created mankind, gave them life and placed them in the Garden of Eden, while He also decreed eternal life with Him. God met them daily in the Garden of Eden for He had desired that they may be one with Him and with each other. In this unity, God saw Himself one with mankind. However, mankind chose their own way and lost it all with the result that it diminished their faith in God and resulted in splits among themselves. This also caused further splits and division even among the churches. Yet, for our good, God in Jesus Christ had desired earnestly that they all may be one in Him and with each other and flourish. Therefore, loving God, the fountain of all life on this earth and beyond, has opened the gateway of living happily on this earth which also will lead us to life eternal which is just a breath away.
AmirChand Parshad started his career in the Indian Foreign Service before immigrating to Canada with his family. He joined the Canadian Public Service where he co-founded the Public Service Christian Fellowship at the same time Dr. Donald Page started one at Parliament. As an ordained minister of the Gospel, AmirChand holds credentials with the Evangelical Church Alliance Ministerial Fellowship of Canada. His ministry has included evangelism, revival, and praying for the sick. These efforts have led him to work with Canada's First Nations and to the West Indies. He has also ministered on the prayer lines with Crossroads Christian Communications: 100 Huntley Street in Ottawa, Canada, a major North American Christian TV program. AmirChand has received many commendations for his work. AmirChand has also worked extensively in India on several occasions where his book, Splendour for Ever, was published by the Indian Society for Promoting Christian Knowledge (ISPCK), Delhi, 1996.
