Anne Pace is a former kindergarten teacher and mother of two toddlers. A children's book lover, she sees stories all around her. One day while visiting the Science Center in Greensboro, North Carolina, a flamingo caught Anne's attention. The flamingo honked, grunted, and flapped her wings while the rest of the flamingo exhibit slept around her. Anne and her children wondered aloud, "What is the flamingo trying to say? Is she bored? Does she want to escape?" Anne's wheels began to turn and Bingo came to life!
