For instance, in many areas of the globe, farmers are applying untreated wastewater to grow crops and vegetables. In some cases, it is worth noting that farmers apply high cast of fertilizers and insecticides to grow more crops and satisfy the increasing demand of food needs. The problem is further multiplied when people purchase these vegetables and consume them without knowing their level of contamination. So far, there is a need to mitigate the heavy metal from the irrigation water so that it could not be accumulated by the plants and may not enter in our food chain. Therefore, biosorption technique would be affective in absorbing the heavy metal pollutant from the environment.
