Dr. Ishwar Prakash Sharma promovierte in Botanik an der Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, Pantnagar, Indien. Während seines Studiums beschäftigte er sich mit der Bekämpfung von Wurzelknöterichkrankheiten durch den Einsatz von PGPRs und AMF. Dieses Buch stellt seine Forschungsarbeit vor. Derzeit arbeitet er als Wissenschaftler am Patanjali Research Institute, Haridwar, Indien.
