The present work was undertaken to investigate the seed-borne mycoflora contaminated some economical Egyptian grains and seeds during storage.Some fungi produce mycotoxins in these grains and seeds. These fungi were isolated and identified and mycotoxin-producers were also detected. The name of mycotoxins present in fungal metabolites were identified by using TLC method.Plant extracts from some medicinal plants were used to control mycotoxin-producers. Prof. Baka (The first author) is a plant pathologist at Damietta University, Egypt. He has got his Ph. D. degree from University of Sheffield GB). He published around 70 papers in his field. He visited as a postdoctoral fellowship the Universities of California (USA), Bergen (Norway) and Sheffield (GB). He has a good experience in his field.
