These fuels are obtained from limited reserves and are highly concentrated in certain regions of the world. Therefore, those countries, which do not have these resources, are facing energy and foreign exchange crisis, mainly due to the import of the crude petroleum oil. Fast depletion of easily accessible fossil fuels is demanding an urgent need to carry out research work to find out viable alternative fuels for I.C. engines.
