Survey results showed that the Mexican bean beetle, Zabrotes subfasciatus (Boheman), was the most damaging pest attacking haricot bean in the store and it was recorded from 88% of the sampled stores.

Mr. Mebeaselassie Andargie has obtained his Msc degree in Entomology in 2004. Since then he has worked in the Department of Biology, Haramaya University as a lecturer and in different national projects in the field of Medical & Veterinary Entomology as well as IPM. He is the author of different articles.
