Autorenporträt
Helga Kuhse, Ph.D., lehrte bis 1999 als Professorin an der Monash University Melbourne/Australien und war Direktorin des Centre for Human Bioethics and Monash University. Sie ist jetzt Senior Research Fellow am Centre for Human Bioethics. U.a. erschien von ihr: "Muß dieses Kind am Leben bleiben? Das Problem schwerstgeschädigter Neugeborener" (zusammen mit Peter Singer), 1993.

Peter Singer, geb. 1946, war bis 1999 Professor für Philosophie und stellvertretender Direktor des Centre for Human Bioethics an der Monash University Melbourne/Australien. Er lehrt derzeit als De Camp Professor of Bioethics an der Princeton University, USA. International bekannt wurde Peter Singer vor allem durch sein Buch "Animal Liberation". U.a. sind bisher von ihm erschienen: "Muß dieses Kind am Leben bleiben? Das Problem schwerstgeschädigter Neugeborener" (mit Helga Kuhse, 1992) und "Wie sollen wir leben? Ethik in einer egoistischen Zeit" (1996).
