This book covers various aspects related to biological nitrogen fixation in soybean starting from effect of inoculation with Bradyrhizobium japonicum, Sinorhizobium fredii and plant growth promoting rhizobacteria on nodule number, dry weight of shoot, strain competitiveness, 100 seeds weight, nitrogen content in seeds and plants, grain yield to host-microbe interaction. The book aims to serve as a teaching guide, and is a rich source of information for the students at graduate and post graduate level, researcher and teacher in the area of microbiology and biofertilizer technology.
