Abu Sayem is an assistant professor in the Genetics and Biotechnology Department at Shahjalal University of Science and Technology, Sylhet, Bangladesh, and a research associate in the Department of Structural and Functional Biology at the University of Naples Federico II, Naples, Italy. He is a researcher and author, having published numerous peer-reviewed articles in the fields of structural biology, biofilms, and biotechnology.
