Saidapuram is a part of famous Nellore mica belt in Andhra Pradesh, India. The current study deals with the biogeochemical aspects involving the termite mounds, plants and soils, and waters in this area. The plant species Gymnosporia montana has been identified as geobotanical indicator of pegmatite. Biogeochemical method of prospecting depends on the chemical analysis of elements in vegetation. Based on BAC the absorption intensity of chemical elements by plants from their substrate has been discussed. The correlations of water chemistry with hydrologic and geologic environments were also included and have provided valuable information on the aquifer system. The quality of water plays a prominent role in promoting both the standards of agricultural production and human health. The enrichment of constituent elements viz. sodium, potassium, calcium, magnesium and the anions in waters are mainly due to minerals like feldspars, mica, and hornblende and are responsible for the release of above-mentioned elements predominantly in large amounts.
