Complications are common and substantial in metal-ceramic fixed prostheses despite their reported long term success. Keeping in view the scarcity of such data locally it was aimed to report data related to complications in these prostheses. Crown and bridges in maxillary arch and in posterior sides of both arches had more complications. Complications in crowns appeared earlier as compared to these in bridges. Generally the fitting place had a predominant influence on where to report the complications. Biological complications were predominant as compared to technical complications.
