The quick and effective method of proving pathogenicity has been standardised.

Dr Shamarao Jahagirdar is presently working as Senior Scientist(Plant Pathology),Dept.of Plant Pathology,UAS,Dharwad.He has worked on ISR on vegetable diseases for his Post Doctorate at NAAS,RDA,South Korea.He has more than 100 research papers and four books to his credit.He has guided MSc and Ph D students.He has visited 12 countries.
