Dr. med. Bob Arnot, geb. 1948 in Boston, studierte Medizin in Innsbruck, Fribourg und am Darthmouth College/USA. Er arbeitete an verschiedenen Kliniken und Instituten in den USA, Schweden und England. 1978 gründete er das Lake Placid Sports Medical Center und war anschließend Arzt des amerikanischen Ski-Teams. Heute ist er leitender Medizin-Journalist für die Fernsehgesellschaft NBC. Zahlreiche Bücher zu Gesundheitsthemen und Diätfragen. Er lebt in New York.
