Dr. Mohammad M. Farag serves as a professor of biomaterials at the National Research Centre in Egypt, having earned his PhD in Bone Engineering Scaffold for Sustained Antibiotic Release. With a focus on impactful research, he has authored 48 publications in esteemed international journals and holds an h-index of 17. His current research interests include the development of microspheres for targeted drug delivery, composite bioceramic scaffolds utilizing rapid prototyping techniques, and exploring injectable ceramic bone cements. Dr. Farag has gained valuable experience through his academic journey, including doctoral studies and postdoctoral grants in various countries from 2011 to 2019. Notably, he has secured patents both internationally and domestically. Dr. Zainab M. Al-Rashidy, an Assistant Professor of Biomaterials at the National Research Centre in Egypt, brings a wealth of knowledge to her field. With an h-index of 8 and 14 international publications, she focuses on the development of functional coatings for metal implants and the synthesis of nanobioceramics. Her research aims to contribute to advancements in biomaterials science and engineering.
