This book deals pedestrian passive safety with regard to child pedestrian. Author s effort was aimed at research of children anatomy, biomechanics and impact kinematics as continuous research initiated in diploma thesis. Clinical study data processing of patients hospitalized in Anaesthetic resuscitation clinic in Motol s faculty hospital in Prague and several forensic expert studies offered source materials for child pedestrian injury spectra assignment. Related to the fact that current legal certification procedure concerning children passive safety is based on child head form test only, series of dynamical passive safety tests of vehicle M1 category collision with child dummy P6 were performed. The dummy was modified according to non-standard data acquisition demands related to locations. Based on real tests parameters mathematical simulation of primary collision in PAM-CRASH with MADYMO coupling was performed. There was used currently existing finite element model of vehicle front part and P6 dummy from MADYMO database. The aim of the simulation was to compare several data measured within dynamic tests and their completion.
