This work belongs to the line of research dedicated to Biomedical Applications, of the research group for Inverse Problems, Optimization and Learning, directed by Professor Juan Luis Fernández-Martínez from the Mathematics Department of Oviedo University. During almost four years we walked a hard and long path, full of closed doors and hitting walls, but with simplicity and tenacity we were able to open all the doors and knock down all the walls. The final work is presented herein as a result of people with a great enthusiasm and a desire of solving problems that help to have a better world.
