The results showed that in the bacterial inhibition halos for enterobacteria there was significant difference(P<0.05) between the mixtures of biomedicines. In this work, the effect of mangosteen extract administered orally in Hostein-Frisian calves during lactation was also observed. The following variables were recorded: weight gain, calf height and quantification of colony forming units (CFU) of pathogenic and non-pathogenic bacteria in lactation. The results showed that the consumption of concentrated feed per day of weight gain, consumption of milk replacer in liquid solution had a significant difference(P<0.05) due to the effect of the mangosteen extract, providing a higher intake of nutrients in the calves.
