MEL MICHELLE LEWIS (she/they), vice president for people, justice, and cultural affairs at American Rivers, is a multidisciplinary artist, writer, teacher, and environmental justice practitioner and an affiliated researcher with the Penn Program in Environmental Humanities at the University of Pennsylvania.
