Autorenporträt
Matt Baker obtained his PhD from the Department of Chemical Engineering and Analytical Science, University of Manchester based in the Manchester Interdisciplinary Biocentre. Following this he was awarded an EPSRC Fellowship conducting research at the Robert Koch Institute and Harvard Medical School. He was then a Project Manager, Senior Scientist and Research Fellow for Dstl and Senior Lecturer at UCLan. He is currently a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Pure and Applied Chemistry, University of Strathclyde based in the Technology and Innovation Centre. His research aims are to understand the composition and behaviour of molecules within complex matrices related to real-world detection challenges with a specific focus on developing spectroscopic biofluid diagnostics.
