This book is the result of in-depth and tireless research, the fruit of a dissertation presented to the Postgraduate Programme in Law - Master's Degree, at Escola Superior Dom Helder Câmara, under the supervision of Professor Bruno Torquato de Oliveira Naves. The research addresses the study of bioethics as a way of discussing the ethical aspects of environmental issues, drawing up a transdisciplinary dialogue between the various areas of knowledge, as an answer to questions where the Law, within its positive discourse, does not reach the fullness of its answers. The bioethical discussion is taken up again from a globalised environmental perspective, and not just from a vertical health perspective. In order to reach this new level, a more responsible and in-depth global bioethical discussion is formulated, recognising the inequalities that exist within diversity, with the aim of achieving effective sustainability together with law and philosophical ethics.
