I started writing poems in 2003 whilst attending a day hospital most of the poems in the book are about bipolar with several family ones.

My name is Wayne Hadfield, I'm 56 years old and live in Alvaston Derby UK, with my partner Karen.I have three children Natalie, William, and Georgina, and five grandchildren, with another three due in October 2021.I was medically retired from rolls Royce in 2007 due to my condition. I was diagnosed with bipolar at the age of 36 though I was first hospitalized when I was 19 I have been in hospital several times.
