Helen writes adult and children's fiction, textbooks and poetry, as well as teaching creative writing, and illustrating children's picture books. She is a mother of three, grandmother of ten, and great-grandmother of six. She believes in following her dreams and encourages children to do so. Hence, the subject of this book.
