Deneen G. Matthews, Editor-in-chief of DeeClare Publishing is responsible for the quality and content of all publications and partnered ventures. She sets and maintains the standards of excellence and integrity associated with the firm and maintains customer relations with clients, contractees and vendors. She is the co-author of the Jacob's Rite of Passage family series/Biz Kidz Adventures and daughter of the co-founder, Clarence V. Matthews. As Co-founder, it was the first published publication, the Jacob's Rite of Passage trilogy that gave birth to this partnership. Clarence supports the vision and theme and provides many of the storylines and scripts for the ongoing Family Series and publications produced internally. These snippets of wisdom supplied by our elders provide insight into a time when less was more and more was categorized by the things money can't buy. This shared vision and mutual concern for "the village," paired with their passion to be effective and positive influences, has fueled this father-daughter quest to write and publish stories that support strong family models, where God, family and community are the established priorities. The undergirding theme of all their published works remains consistent, "It still takes a village to raise a child. It's time to reclaim the village!"
