Björn Kristian Ulvaeus, born 25 April 1945 is a Swedish musician, composer, a former member of the Swedish musical group ABBA (1972-1982), and co-composer of the musicals Chess, Kristina från Duvemåla, and Mamma Mia!. He has recently coproduced the film Mamma Mia! with ex- ABBA member and close-friend Benny Andersson. During the last years Björn Ulvaeus has stepped forward as a frontline critic against the free file sharing of copyrighted material on the internet. He is also a prominent and outspoken member of the International Humanist and Ethical Union's Swedish member organisation Humanisterna.
