Briana Minor is a woman of strength whose true voice is made clear through the art of poetry. Her words create a vivid image of life and the realities of being a young black woman in this day and age. Since the age of 9 she has found her voice and healing through her pen. She has been a member of 2 slam teams sharing her art on Nationally competitive stages while representing Kansas City. May 2019 she won "Best Newcomer" by Kansas City's Music and More Foundation and would soon be nominated by Kansas City People Choice Awards for "Best Spoken Word Artist" the summer of 2020.
