Autorenporträt
Deep beneath the burning sands of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, an ancient Entity has been awakened. The Entity, which is neither matter nor energy, is one of the Formless Ones. It has existed since before the Time of the Dinosaurs. When an Asteroid hit the Planet Earth in ancient times, the Entity was trapped underground. Eons later, encased in oil, the Entity is accidentally freed by Nigerian workman Tariq Adewale. The nigh-Immortal creature is loose upon the modern world, and its aims are unknown. Housed in the body of its ill-fated liberator, the Entity explores the modern world while seeking others like itself. It is governed by a unique set of rules. That which is without form, and wasn't created, therefore cannot be destroyed. Tariq's already difficult life spirals out of control as he gains new abilities out of the blue. There's also the matter of Tariq's lover, the curvaceous Saudi courtesan Afaf Al-Rahmani, and her enemies. In Saudi Arabia, Arab women who like Black men are just courting trouble. Nevertheless, Afaf's attraction to Tariq cannot be denied. Passions soar and clash in the world's most conservative nation. Starved for new sensations, especially sex and violence, the Entity welcomes the chaos and the conflict. How will Humanity deal with this ancient being that simply cannot die and has strange plans for the species ?
