James comes to the characters' city to deliver a speech about the totality of life and encourages the people to practice self-love while using their gifts to live their dreams. There are 25+ characters that, throughout the story, help drive Aaron's message home. Most of the characters are poets, they are all interconnected with one another, and all have been through trials that continue to affect their current conditions in the story. The characters are all confined by the issues of society while enduring punitive circumstances.

As a Youth Empowerment Hero honing his craft as a motivational speaker, poet and an author, Anthony Crawford, Jr. manifests his greatness through strong, compassionate and powerful writings and messages. The goals of these messages are to inspire people to overcome adversity, follow their dreams, and live the life they vision for themselves. They are messages and lessons that Crawford has experienced, studied, researched, and written about throughout his life, especially during the time he contemplated suicide. Anthony was born and raised in the gang and crime infested areas of Los Angeles, California. In the fall of 2007, Anthony headed to the Midwest for college at Langston University located in Langston, Oklahoma. Highlights of his undergraduate career include but are not limited to pledging Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc., serving the Student Government Association as Activities Coordinator, Vice President and President, and acquiring several many awards and recognition of service. In May of 2012 with a Bachelor's of Arts Degree in Education.
