He tells her about the dormant power that exists within them and how it's being forcefully repressed by the powers that be. Mary is completely enthralled by the conversation when he asks her to take a risk and trust him. They spend the remainder of the evening together and during her time with him, she experiences unexplainable phenomena and they become the target of a high-speed police chase. Instantly, the car they're in begins to travel at the speed of light through a portal to a paradise created by the descendants of the fallen Black Gods. This foreign land is a place where black men and women are treated like pure royalty and the mysterious man shows Mary the key's to unlocking her true purpose.
