Shanell Keys has been writing entertaining stories since she was a young child. Born with the gift of storytelling and a vivid imagination, she is the author of five novels, including Lost and Found, Blank Slate, The Good Mother, The Promise, and her newest masterpiece, A Summer to Remember, which is a stand-alone sequel to The Promise. She lives in Sacramento, California with her husband and two children and works as a preschool educator, which helps her connect with her characters on a deeper level. In her spare time, she loves to travel and spend time with her family. She attended American River College where she studied Literature and Early Childhood Education.
