Marie Freebird was raised in Avon Lake, a suburb in the Greater Cleveland area of Northeast Ohio. An experienced storyteller since her early teens, Marie is an avid supporter of literature and the arts, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree from Cleveland State University. Sharing her love of literature and the beauty of nature has always been her passion. Writing books for a young audience has made it a pleasure as well
