Autorenporträt
Ann Rennie has over 25 years' experience in teaching in Melbourne Catholic schools. She has held a number of leadership positions and has been an REC at Genazzano FCJ College. She has educational qualifications from the University of Melbourne and has Masters' degrees in Religious Education and in Educational Leadership from the Australian Catholic University. Students from two of her schools have achieved Premier's Awards for the VCE subject, Texts and Traditions. Ann was a VCE English assessor for over a decade. For the past 15 years Ann has written the Unguarded Moments column in the Australian Catholics magazine, has been published in The Age, The Australian and The Sydney Morning Herald amongst a number of platforms. For the past five years, Ann has written and compiled prayers and reflections for Australasian teachers with Garratt Publishing, a must have for the teacher needing a quick prayer or short reflection on a busy day - or in that rare moment away from the class. She also writes a monthly column for her local parish cluster, as well as contributing regularly to other small publications, both online and print.
