In an age of technological miracles, it is sad to learn that millions are unbanked/underbanked around the world. The problem is even worse in Sub-Saharan Africa. The number of the unbanked is too big to ignore. However, serving this section of society using brick-and-mortar branches is becoming more and more expensive. Added to that, the low-value high-volume transactions of these societies makes things worse. The only way out is serving this section of society using FinTech. This book tries to explicate how blockchain can be used for financial inclusion with due consideration of facts on the ground.
