Ancient vampire Rue keeps to herself. It makes it easier to fight the constant hunger that plagues her. That is, until the night she catches Grace-a not very good vampire hunter-stalking her through the streets of Dublin. Something about Grace is achingly familiar. And strangely irresistible. Rue soon learns that Grace is herself being hunted, and is thrown into a battle she never wanted, to save a woman who wants her dead. As Rue unravels the horrifying and treacherous plot, she also uncovers a secret about Grace that could change everything. Along the way, Rue finds herself drawn to the girl, and is forced to choose: Continue her solitary life of safety, or risk it all for love? Through it all, Rue recalls her creation and formative nights in an ancient world far from the rainy streets of Dublin, a world where she learned to live, love, hunt and kill.Hinweis: Dieser Artikel kann nur an eine deutsche Lieferadresse ausgeliefert werden.
Aisling is a writer, specialising in Urban fantasy, High Fantasy and Magical Realism. Aisling is an Irish name, pronounced 'ASH-LING', and It means 'dream' - specifically, a magical, mystical dream. Aisling's favourite stories growing up were always tales of the supernatural. From Fairy Tales of the Brothers Grimm, to traditional folk tales and myths to the works of C.S. Lewis and Tolkien, to more modern stories of Princes and Princesses, elves and fairies and magic spells-she was transfixed. So much so that she would think about the stories long after they were read, carrying on in her own imagination with things that could have happened after the 'Happily Ever After'. For the last few years, Aisling has been settled in the West of Ireland, and it was there she began writing her own stories. Stories of the lives, loves and adventures of all the characters living in her head. Aisling writes engaging and exciting tales of the supernatural and magical; of vampires, fairies, werewolves, ghosts, angels, demons, magicians, and all sorts of other creatures. Creatures that might live right next door.
