The story is delivered in words-twisting, unique, innovative and continuous "rap storytelling style". An emotional and financial roller coaster life as the story goes back and forth in time. Leon Bongo's parents die of a meth drug overdose and he is left to look after himself in the streets. Coach Kenny, a veteran boxing trainer and promoter discovers him in a street brawl with other street kids over a share of pickpocketing loot. Coach Kenny shelters him in his gym, educates, clothes, trains and feeds him. Kenny takes advantage of Leon by betting his matches behind his back, betrays him, and rips him off a lot of his lifetime earnings. Leon is financially illiterate and also makes mistakes with his money in luxuries. A female journalist Gina who works for the Sports Journal and with experience in interviewing sports celebrities is given the task to interview Leon. During the interview she discovers Leon's vulnerable points. Leon is more focused on boxing but is ignorant of a lot of shenanigans and hullabaloo in the boxing fraternity. Gina opens a can of worms as she asks Leon about fixed matches, betting syndicates and use of performance enhancing drugs in the sport. Leon falls in love with Gina and they start dating. Coach Kenny is against the relationship but fails to stop their wedding. The story begins with the nemesis Don Ringo who has equaled retired Leon's 46-0-0 record challenging Leo. aul has been writing rap music as a hobby since 2001 .Born and bred in the ghetto Mbare, Harare, Zimbabwe.Introduced to Hip Hop in the early 90's. Pump up the jam and Get up(Be fore the night is over) by Belgian act Technotronic released in 1989 and 1990 were my first favorite songs respectively. It did not fit into proper hip hop song, to my disappointmet of course. It was not core hip hop but a fusion of hip hop and deep house elements. My elder brother Johannes Makuyu had the cassette of Technotronic album.I listened several times on repeat .At that time Radio 3 in Zimbabwe was playing international music mostly 90's R&B. Paul was born 1981,a natural artist and I loved sketch drawing. I released the flexibility of hip hop from an early age.I visited the B.A.T(British American Tobacco)school of arts in Babra Tredgold Street in Mbare and the Art Gallery in the CBD of Harare several times. Primary school I was introduced to marimba music and in the hood to "gule wankulu" drum beats. Even though I was supposed to join as a person of Malawian origin born in Zimbabwe but Christian beliefs said no. The "gule wankulu" drum beats spoke to my soul not spirit so I never joined the "Gule dance".I grew up with soap stone sculptors as well. I believe art runs in my blood. My late elder brother Robson(rest in power) was a trader of soap stone sculptures. A few songs I wrote have been recorded by an emcee and posted on the internet. Later on in my senior high school years at Oriel Boys High, Chisipite,Harare that is when I was more exposed to the "science of Hip Hop".2001-2002 I had a counter book that I wrote most of my rhymes from the head as a hobby and therapy. I had failed to secure funds to attend Canada for my University education. Hip Hop as therapy helped. Bizarre Bazooka Bandits and Bloody Battle Boxerr is my take on the genre Hip Hop Opera. Hope it becomes a success. 2003-2011 ,I worked for a multinational manufacturing company in Zimbabwe. I rose through the ranks. 2011 when the company was downgrading I was given a good package -"golden handshake" as they call it .
