Randy Roberts is the 150th Anniversary distinguished professor of history at Purdue University and the coauthor of the award-winning A Season in the Sun: The Rise of Mickey Mantle, as well as War Fever: Boston, Baseball, and America in the Shadow of the Great War (with Johnny Smith). He lives in Lafayette, Indiana. Johnny Smith is the J. C. "Bud" Shaw professor of sports history and an associate professor of history at Georgia Tech. He is the co-author of the award-winning A Season in the Sun: The Rise of Mickey Mantle, as well as  War Fever: Boston, Baseball, and America in the Shadow of the Great War (with Randy Roberts). He lives in Atlanta, Georgia.
