This prospective study was conducted on 30 non diabetic men and women with acute myocardial infarction (AMI)admitted to a tertiary hospital in Bijapur,India. The cases were divided into group I to IV based on random blood sugar(RBS) i.e., 167mg% at the time of hospital admission.
