Autorenporträt
Ms. Townsend lives in sunny Southern California, where her love of rock music began at a young age when she returned bottles for change to buy 45 RPM records. During her teen years, her interest moved from the music to the musicians. KABC TV News recruited her in 1964 to interview the Beatles when they first landed at Los Angeles International Airport. Then she met and started dating one of the Rolling Stones that exposed her to the private lifestyle of sex, drugs, and rock and roll. Kew's memories surfaced in the Affairs of the Heart Collection where she weaves her intimate behind-the-scenes rock and roll anecdotes with her long love of mysteries and suspense into an exciting romance story. Her master's degree in Cultural Anthropology influences her world travels, and flavor to her novels.
