The complexity of the problem of immunocorrection in cancer patients is related both to the danger of stimulation of proliferative processes under the influence of immunopreparations and to the definition of its role and place in the complex treatment of malignant neoplasms, many methods of which are immunosuppressive. In this regard, the use of electromagnetic radiation of optical range seems promising. The paper presents an original technique enabling to influence the organism of patients with primary inoperable locally-spread lung cancer of the 3-4rd stage of the disease, thus achieving tumor transfer into resectable state, increasing nonspecific antitumor resistance, influencing the state of cellular immunity factors. The results obtained testify to the fact that photomodification of blood of lung cancer patients promotes proliferative activity of lymphocytes, increases expression of their differentiation receptors as well as stimulation of oxygen-independent mechanisms of bactericidal neutrophils. The use of photomodification in the complex treatment of these patients, can improve the effectiveness of their immunorehabilitation.
