Teenager Lexi Cree Craven has been on the run with her mother Daisy for most of her life. She's enjoyed being the new girl at school and has gotten great at popularity. However, what she really wants is to find a permanent home where she belongs. Daisy brings Lexi back to her hometown where most of their relatives live when they run out of options. Lexi hopes she can finally put down roots. But Ocean Crest, South Carolina is not what it seems. For the first time in Lexi's life, she finds it hard to gain popularity, but she is determined to get to know her relatives and stay. The island is in America's Deep South, and as a biracial person, she has to confront racism and speciesm, even in her own family. Before she really makes her mark, Lexi's life spins out of control when she kills a well-connected werewolf in self-defense and discovers that she's half vampire and half shifter. She also learns that Ocean Crest is one of many planned supernatural communities governed by international and national supernatural groups who have a vested interest in her. Lexi must fight to make Ocean Crest her forever home and she must fight to stay alive.Hinweis: Dieser Artikel kann nur an eine deutsche Lieferadresse ausgeliefert werden.
