Bloom, Marigold, Bloom was inspired by an 8 year old girl who the Author, Taylor Bringard, and her family almost adopted in 2015. Told through poetry and impressionist art this book was created to teach children about life, to remind children that they are loved, and to encourage them to bloom where they have been planted. The little girl did not end up with the Bringard family, but the her bright light and incredible strength made a huge impact on the Author. This book is proof that every encounter and crossroad in our lives can make a difference. It is because of an 8 year old girl that Bloom, Marigold, Bloom was created. Now, in honor of her we are paying it forward and 10% of the proceeds will go to the GraceCentralCoast Adoption and Foster Care Ministry Fund. "The Adoption Fund has been established to help families overcome the financial obstacle of adoption and to support families who have taken in children whom have come from hard places and are struggling. God has commanded His people - the Church - to care for those in need. In addition, Grace Central Coast has two support groups for adoptive and foster care families and ongoing training's and conferences." -GraceCentralCoast Adoption and Foster Care Ministry Team "Taylor does an excellent job, in this delightfully and creatively written children's book, of showing a child that no matter how turbulent their past has been they can bloom where they are planted. Every child needs one loving adult and God in their life." -- Dori Iunker, GraceSLO Director of Kids Ministry, Foster mom to 28, Adopted mother of 2Hinweis: Dieser Artikel kann nur an eine deutsche Lieferadresse ausgeliefert werden.
Taylor Bringard is an aspiring entrepreneur who has a heart for writing books and creating art that matters. Her recipe for success includes a scoop of creativity, a splash of passion, and a steady pouring of love for making a difference. Using her B.A. in Early Childhood Development and her real life experiences, she has created stories that inspire children to imagine and believe in themselves. Taylor strongly believes that "faith without works is dead" which is why 10% of the proceeds for Bloom, Marigold, Bloom will be donated to the GraceCentralCoast Adoption and Foster Care Ministry. Some of her interests include painting, working with animals, American Sign Language, baby-wearing, hiking, biking, music, yoga, and spending time with her family and friends. Taylor is a huge supporter of local/small business and enjoys working closely with one of her favorites, Brooklyn Owl, who was also the inspiration for her business title: Taylor Bringard, The Writing Unicorn. You might find Taylor and her family prancing around on-set as Brooklyn Owl unicorns. The author currently resides in San Luis Obispo, CA, with her husband, two children, and fur-babies, but is constantly on the go. You might find this family of unicorns trotting along the California coast or hanging out in Brooklyn, NY.
