Filippo Cardu is an Italian artist based in Milan. His work consists of heavy detailed ink illustrations full of patterns, characters, and natural elements, that all blend together to give life to intricate compositions and provide visual impact and variation. He draws in a beautifully stylized visual language influenced by medieval ornament, Chinese traditional illustration, and calligraphy.
