Dave Thomas and Mike Smith are dedicated Burnley season ticket holders and authors specialising in their club. Dave has previously written books about Harry Potts, Jimmy Adamson, Jimmy McIlroy, Willie Irvine, Paul Fletcher, and BFC groundsman Roy Oldfield, all of whom played key parts in the Bob Lord story. Mike has written the story of Burnley's 1914 FA Cup win and a biography of BFC's Edwardian skipper Tommy Boyle.
