Autorenporträt
Rolf Andersen was born in Denmark where he graduated and worked as a photographer, fine artist, writer and editor on TV and Theater productions. Between jobs he traveled the world exploring various cultures. In sketchbooks, journals and through photography he documented his journeys. Eventually Rolf moved to New York City and studied fine art while working as a supernumerary at the Metropolitan Opera. He started teaching computer art and design and earned a Master's Degree from NYU, Tisch School of the Arts in Interactive Telecommunication-ITP. After graduating he continued teaching and guest lecturing. When self-publishing became a reality, Rolf gathered his own writings and artwork and, with a contemporary touch, designed his first graphic novel, "Bobby: A Surreal Adventure of a Goldfish". He plans to publish more of his creative output and classroom teaching tutorials. The man behind the digital artist and author enjoys living in New York City and maintains his momentum by running and doing yoga and push-ups in Central Park. He especially like interacting with people on the street, museums and volunteering as a food server at senior centers.
