Within the framework of the research carried out, the conceptualization and analysis of social and cultural constructions about gender relations and sexed bodies is assumed as an object of study. Special emphasis has been placed on the critical articulation and denaturalization of certain patterns, stereotypes, mandates or practices that respond to hegemonic models in our historical context. At the same time, it is crucial to mention the focus we intend to problematize around physical education and the traditional cultural patterns that have been perpetuating it. In order to approach this inquiry, both qualitative and quantitative methodologies were used, surveys and interviews with physical education students reflect experiences, experiences and discourses that are interpreted from the theories of gender and diversity. The categories of analysis were the use of time and the practices carried out by them.
